Bathed in the hues of cobalt blue and sunshine yellow, Cecilia’s Pizzeria by Studio ADI is an evocative blend of southern Italian nostalgia and contemporary Indian warmth. Conceived as a neighborhood escape, the design celebrates the sensory joy of Naples — where vibrant color, honest materials, and convivial energy meet under one roof.
The façade, wrapped in striking Amalfi blue, immediately draws the eye. A hand-painted logo of “Cecilia” — a modern muse of Neapolitan charm — sets the tone for what lies within: a handcrafted, heart-led space where every detail feels personal. Step inside, and the intimacy of the interiors unfolds — terracotta and timber meet glossy blue-tiled tables, golden chairs, and walls lined with vintage Italian posters that tell stories of love, laughter, and la dolce vita.
At the heart of the pizzeria stands the wood-fired yellow-bricked oven, glowing like the Mediterranean sun. This element grounds the space both functionally and emotionally — a hearth around which design and dining converge. Warm cove lighting, exposed beams, and the subtle patina of textured walls bring in layers of timeless authenticity, while playful modern touches — striped upholstery, mustard accents, and graphic art — keep the ambience young and spirited.
Outside, the charm continues. An alfresco garden draped in cascading florals invites guests to linger under string lights and paper lanterns. The interplay of yellow cushions, wicker chairs, and lush greens transforms the courtyard into an urban Eden — intimate, photogenic, and effortlessly Mediterranean.
The project, though compact in footprint, carries a remarkable sense of openness — achieved through color harmony, layered textures, and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. Studio ADI has turned spatial constraint into creative poetry, crafting a restaurant that feels expansive through emotion and experience rather than scale.
Cecilia’s Pizzeria isn’t just about design — it’s about atmosphere. It captures the rhythm of Naples in a new context, where every meal is a celebration of togetherness. Through thoughtful detailing and a daring palette, Studio ADI has created a space that feels both transportive and familiar — a slice of southern Italy reimagined through an Indian soul.
